Dr Mohamed El-Haram
Managing Director
Dr El-Haram is the Managing Director of Whole Life Consultants Ltd and a Senior Research Fellow in the Construction Management Research Unit, Division of Civil Engineering, at the University of Dundee. He is expertise in the application of whole life costing and value, asset management, risk management and payment mechanisms in PPP/PFI and sustainability assessment in the construction industry and has expertise in the oil and gas sector. His research interests include whole life costing, sustainability assessment, reliability analysis, integrated logistics support, maintenance management, project management and asset management. He has published over 50 scientific publications and co-author of a book in these fields.
Professor Malcolm Horner

Professor Horner is a Fellow both of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He is Emeritus Professor of Engineering Management at the University of Dundee where he leads the Construction Management Research Unit in the Division of Civil Engineering as well as the EPSRC funded project Metrics Models and Toolkits for Whole Life Sustainable Urban Development. The Construction Management Research Unit is a leading member of the consortium appointed by Scottish Enterprise Glasgow to establish the Scottish Construction Centre.
Associate Professor Saša Marenjak

Associate Professor teaching at University of Osijek and Zagreb, Faculty of Civil Engineering. Member of Team of Specialists for Public Private Partnership of The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), Member of Association of Project Managers and the International Project Funding Association (IPFA). He has 11 years’ industrial experience and some 13 years of research experience.

A software developer and system administrator for more than a decade, having studied Computer Science at Cambridge University and worked for Dundee and Heriot-Watt Universities on a variety of research projects and internal infrastructure as well as working with the telecommunications industry and regulator on Internet access charging, instigating the FRIACO interconnect product in conjunction with MCI.
Dr Doug Forbes
Senior Consultant
Dr Forbes is a consultant with Whole Life Consultants Ltd whose background is in civil engineering. His PhD, undertaken in the Construction Management Research Unit at the University of Dundee examined the risks associated with the sustainability assessment of housing. His expertise lies in sustainability assessment of the built environment in terms of social, economic and environmental aspects. It is in all three of these areas to which he has applied risk management techniques. He also has experience in whole life costing and measuring and forecasting construction labour productivity.
